This
Home Service Program provides patrons with special needs, the
homebound and the physically impaired, a personal one-on-one service
to meet their informational, educational and recreational requirements.
Patrons participating in this program may check out materials
from the same wide variety of books and materials made available
to the general public.
In an effort to
better serve the county, the Saline County Library has established an
Outreach Service for the homebound of all ages. Library materials
can be delivered directly to the home or room of the patron.
This service is available to those who can't utilize traditional
library services or it would cause an undue hardship to
do so.
Specific materials
may be requested and/or the Homebound Coordinator will make
selections from general materials based on the patrons' interests
and needs. Large print and audio material are available
for the visually impaired.
